Which vehicles support the ring?

It works with compatible Model 3 and Model Y key-card systems. Model S and Model X require the 2021-or-later compatible key-card system; it is not for every older S/X.

How do I choose a size?

Use a standard US ring sizer, preferably measured by a jeweler. Choose the size for the finger you plan to use at the reader; available sizes are 6-12.

How do I add the ring as a key?

While parked, open Controls > Locks and add a key. Present the ring to the interior key-card reader and authorize it with an existing key as prompted.

Where do I tap it?

Use your vehicle’s designated exterior and interior key-card reader locations. On Model 3/Y, unlock at the driver-side B-pillar; reader placement for starting varies by model.

Does it need charging?

No. It is a passive NFC key with no charging routine. Hold it close to the reader rather than expecting remote or walk-up unlocking.

Can one ring be paired with more than one car?

Yes, with multiple compatible vehicles. Add it separately in each vehicle and remove its key entry if the ring is lost.
