How do I choose With or Without Emergency Release?
Inspect the original frunk release/light assembly and match the listed fitment. Use the product’s comparison image; model year alone is not enough.
Which light color should I choose?
Cool White is listed as 6000K and Warm White as 3000K. Order the selected color rather than assuming all versions switch between both.
Are all model connectors the same?
No. Match both the vehicle and the original release/light arrangement. Do not force a different connector.
Can I tap into any nearby power wire?
No. Use only the supplied model-specific connection and instructions. Do not splice into the latch or emergency-release circuit.
Where should the cable run?
Use the specified protected route and keep it clear of the latch, hinges, seals, drains and release hardware. Do not leave it where the hood can pinch it.
