Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful details about this product.
What is the difference between Wi-Fi and 4G?
Choose the network configuration you need. Wi-Fi requires a suitable network; a 4G version also requires compatible mobile service. A data plan is not implied by the product name.
Can I use CarPlay and a phone hotspot together?
The setup instructions state that CarPlay and the mobile Wi-Fi hotspot do not operate simultaneously. To use the hotspot, disconnect/unpair CarPlay in the phone’s Bluetooth settings.
Does it add massage or seat heating to any car?
No. Supported comfort controls depend on existing vehicle hardware and software. The display does not install those seat functions.
Is it a plug-in portable tablet?
No. It is a vehicle-specific rear-console accessory that needs the matching mounting parts and harness.
How do I prepare for installation?
Park safely and follow the vehicle and kit power-down procedure before unplugging connectors. Match the console and harness to the installation diagram. A screen power-off command is not a substitute for any electrical-isolation step required by the vehicle service instructions.
Which trim panels are removed?
For the console shown in the installation guide, release the lower panel beneath the armrest, carefully pull out the rear air-vent assembly and unplug its connector. Use a plastic trim tool and release clips without pulling on the wires.
What connects to the original vent connector?
The illustrated kit includes a small adapter that mates with the disconnected factory vent connector. Use that supplied, matching adapter only. Do not interpret the diagram as an instruction to join bare wires or short connector pins.
How is the center cover released?
The illustrated console has a screw at the lower-right corner of the center cover. Remove it, lift the cover and release the factory connector. If your console differs, stop and obtain the matching diagram rather than forcing the panel.
How is the display harness connected?
Match the supplied harness plugs to the factory connectors shown in the guide, connecting the left-side plug and then the right-side plug. Seat each connector fully without forcing it; connector color alone is not a fitment check.
How should the wiring be routed?
Bring the display lead up through the center-cover opening shown in the guide. Arrange the harness before refitting the center cover, screw and lower panel. Keep it clear of clips, vents and moving parts, then mate the display power socket with the matching harness plug.
What should be tested before refitting the console?
Check screen startup, network connection, sound, supported climate controls and unobstructed rear airflow while parked.
Can the driver watch video while driving?
No. This screen is for rear passengers. Set up apps and accounts while safely parked and follow vehicle entertainment restrictions.
Do streaming services come included?
No subscription is implied. App availability, accounts, region restrictions and mobile data charges are controlled by the respective services.
What should I do if a feature is unavailable?
Check whether the vehicle has the required hardware and whether the screen firmware supports it. Do not change wiring to enable unsupported features.
