Does this include a new screen?

No. It is a mounting kit for the existing center screen.

How far can the screen rotate?

The range varies by bracket version. The pictured new-generation mount shows 40° adjustment; do not apply that figure to every legacy-model bracket.

Can I rotate the loose bracket before installation?

Do not force or rotate the unmounted mechanism. Fit and secure it according to its instructions before adjustment.

What must be removed during fitting?

The matching guide removes the lower sensor trim, screen fasteners and original bracket. The screen must be supported while its harness is disconnected.

What happens to the temperature sensor?

The illustrated mounting sequence transfers the sensor into the matching replacement trim and reconnects its cable. Do not trap or omit the sensor lead.

How are the screen cables routed?

Pass them through the intended bracket opening, reconnect their locks and leave enough protected slack for the permitted movement. Do not stretch or pinch them.

Does it require drilling or wire cutting?

The matching kit uses existing mounting positions and plug connections. Drilling and wire splicing are not part of the specified installation.

What should I test before finishing?

Check the screen, sensor connection, fasteners, cable clearance and full permitted movement while stationary. Check knee clearance in your normal seating position.

Can I adjust the screen while driving?

Set the angle while safely parked. Do not reposition the screen in a way that distracts you from driving.

Should I use a professional installer?

Recommended if you are not comfortable supporting the screen, handling trim and reconnecting delicate harnesses. Follow the fastener specifications for your bracket.
